“ServNet auctions across the country are seeing an influx of vehicles from our commercial consignors this year, so it made sense for us to convene a more formally-structured meeting with representatives from those accounts to drill down into a few key areas that affect the remarketing process,” said Pierre Pons, ServNet’s CEO. “Topping our agenda for this meeting is an examination of the operational issues that balance process efficiency with maximizing asset values.”

Pons explains that instituting a Client Advisory Session was championed by ServNet’s President-elect, Eric Autenrieth, co-owner of two auctions in the group: Indiana Auto Auction and Carolina Auto Auction. Autenrieth will take over the President’s gavel from Kevin Brown (Missouri Auto Auction) at this same session.

“As independent auctions, our primary focus is refining the logistics involved in storing, transporting, reconditioning and of course – SELLING - the vehicles consigned to our auctions, all the while exposing them to the broadest market in order to achieve these increased resale values for our consignors,” said Autenrieth. “Our goal for the Client Advisory Session is to identify meaningful and actionable ways to bolster the remarketing processes for our customers.”

Representatives from 17 of the country’s leading remarketers will meet with the ServNet owners and executive board at the Client Advisory Session in October. The group will include Van Humphrey (1st Investors), Jason Alba (Ally Financial), Chris Clark (ARI), Greg Thibault and Mark Zurales (Avis/Budget), Scott France (Cap Rock), Terry Groves (Consolidated Asset Recovery), Mike Scott (Consumer Portfolio Services)Dan Powers (Donlen), Mike Bohannon (Exeter Financial), Jarrod Nawojski (Fiserv), Evert Asbridge and James Crocker (Merchants Fleet Management), Will Sargent (Regional Acceptance), Brent Huisman (Santander/Chrysler Capital), Bruce McGeorge (Select Remarketing), Mike Reid (Toyota), Scott Mousaw (UACC), and Bill Walters (Westlake Financial).

We expect that the Client Advisory Session will significantly enhance that process, and will lead to even greater success for our national accounts at the auction level.”
