ServNet Welcomes Clark County Auto Auction

ServNet's President, Eric Autenrieth, has announced that Clark County Auto Auction has been named the newest member of the independent auction group. Led by Matt Fetter, the company's president, Clark County Auto Auction is located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and serves dealers in the Southern Indiana, and into the Kentucky (Louisville) market areas.

"I join with the owners of ServNet auctions across the country in welcoming the Clark County Auto Auction to ServNet," said Autenrieth. "The Fetter family has developed their auction facility into an exceedingly well-run operation, built on a culture of exemplary service and strong customer partnerships. We look forward to Matt Fetter's contributions to our owners' meetings and know that the auction will represent the ServNet brand well to buyers and sellers in its region."

"ServNet continually evaluates geographic markets around the country to identify the best independently owned auto auctions that might fit well as ServNet members," explains Autenrieth.  "Our membership process is quite selective and covers everything from facilities to technology to compliance.  This ensures that when a dealer or commercial account is working with a ServNet auction, they know that it has gone through a rigorous vetting process and represents that best of the best in that marketplace."

Clark County Auto Auction was founded in 1982 by the father and son team of Charles and Mark Fetter, and is operated today by third generation owner Matt Fetter. The auction recently moved into a new world-class facility which includes a five-lane service building and reconditioning center. The 40,000-square foot main building includes a seven-lane auction area, administrative offices, 100-seat restaurant, digital sales network and AFC offices.

"Being named a ServNet auction opens an exciting new chapter for us at Clark County Auto Auction," said Matt Fetter. "In meeting with ServNet auction owners I have been impressed with their knowledge and experience as well as their willingness to share ideas and their vision for the future. Collaborating with them will strengthen our auction and fortify the markets we serve."

A member of the National Auto Auction Association since 2015, Clark County Auto Auction has quickly gained national recognition for performance and its contributions to the community. The auction is consistently ranked among the top 10 highest sellers for OVE. In 2017, Clark County Auto Auction was named the NAAA's Midwest Chapter Auto Auction of the Year for outstanding public service. The auction was chosen out of 47 auto auctions for its 35-year history of giving back to the community, including the recent donation of its former auction facility to the local school system. The auction also was cited by the NAAA after all its employees completed the NAAA's safety training program.

Clark County Auto Auction handles the sale of bank and finance company repossessions, lease returns, rental car fleets, new and used car dealership trades, government vehicles and corporate fleets. With an average of 600 vehicles running weekly, Clark County Auto Auction hosts a sale every Wednesday afternoon at 2:30.
