ServNet has announced the winners of its 2022 Scholarship Program. Eight scholarships are being awarded to aspiring students for the 2022-2023 academic year.
ServNet's scholarship program was established in 2016 as an ongoing initiative to help ServNet auction employees and their families pursue the dream of higher education. The ServNet Scholarship program assists ServNet auction employees, their children, stepchildren and grandchildren who plan to pursue education in college or vocational school programs.
"As the leaders of family-owned businesses. ServNet owners take a deep personal interest in their employees," explains Robert Sullivan, ServNet's Administrative Director "ServNet's scholarship program encourages the members of our auction families and helps lay the groundwork for the generation that follows."
Sullivan reports that ServNet is presenting a total of $19,000 in scholarships this year. One scholarship for $1,500 is going to a student attending a two-year college, and seven scholarships of $2,500 are being awarded to students attending a four-year college or university.
$1,500 scholarship for study at a two-year college
Kaden Hobbs (son of Corpus Christi Auto Auction's Fleet/Lease Manager Rachele Hobbs) begins his freshman year at Texas State Technical College in Waco in the fall, with a major in Instrumentation Technology.
$2,500 scholarships for study at a 4-year college or university
Austin Aanenson (son of Jenny Aanenson, who works in the Human Resources Department at Mid-State Auto Auction) will attend North Dakota State University in the Fall as a freshman majoring in Business Management.
Lucy Fox (granddaughter of Don Sistrunk, the Floor Plan Manager/Auditor at Louisiana's 1st Choice Auto Auction, begins her freshman year at the University of Tennessee in the fall, where she will major in Family/Human Studies with a Community Outreach Track.
Ava Meyer (daughter of Tammy Meyer, who works in the accounting department at Bel Air Auto Auction) will attend the University of Maryland in the fall as a a freshman, with plans to major in Marketing.
Cassie Rogers (the daughter of BSC America's Tommy Rogers who oversees Clayton Station and Tallahassee Auto Auction) begins her freshman year in the fall at Liberty University, where she plans to major in Theater Education with a minor in Worship Pastoring..
Cale Rudolph (grandson of Deb Rudolph, who works in Dealer Registration at Mid-State Auto Auction), will attend the University of Minnestota Duluth as a sophomore in the fall, with a major in Mechanical Engineering.
Jace Rudolph (also a grandson of Deb Rudolph, who works in Dealer Registration at Mid-State Auto Auction, and Cale Rudolph's twin brother) begins his sophomore year at the University of Minnesota Duluth where he is majoring in Computer Science.
Adelyn Stevens (daughter of DAA/OKC's General Manager Pat Stevens) begins her studies at Texas Tech University in the fall as a freshman majoring in Animal Science. She plans to join the university's equestrian team as a hunter jumper and will take her horse "Arnie" with her to Lubbock.
Sullivan notes that ServNet's scholarship program has been enthusiastically received by employees and associates at ServNet auctions around the country, and that over the years several students have applied for--and been awarded--the ServNet scholarship in multiple years.This year, Jace Ruolph is a two-time ServNet scholarship winner.
